The Santa Bárbara Seminar Series, organised by NUMIST, will bring together students, professors, and staff from the Department of Engineering in Mineral and Energy Resources (DER) and professionals from the Resources industry Minerals and Energy. The event will take place on 4 December, at 1 p.m., in the Great Hall of Instituto Superior Técnico.

“Nature’s Symphony for a Greener Future” is the motto of the 19th Santa Bárbara Seminar Series, which will include the Recursos+ Scholarships Award Ceremony. These are Annual Tuition Support Scholarships in Mining Engineering and Energy Resources (1st Cycle) 2024/2025.

The event will include the presence of students, professors, non-teaching staff and company representatives of Almina, Beralt Tin & Wolfram Portugal, Fravizel, Julipedra, Mocapor, Orica Mining Services Portugal andSecil Agregados.

This ceremony celebrates the students’ academic merit and strengthens the collaboration between academia and industry, promoting the development of Portugal’s mineral and energy resources sector.»
