The Lisbon Academy of Sciences (LAC) is pleased to announce a series of conferences titled “Diversidade Biológica, Desertificação e Sustentabilidade” (“Biological Diversity, Desertification and Sustainability”) on the occasion of the International Day of Forests and the World Water Day, declared by the UN on 21st and 22nd March, respectively.
The conferences will start on March 14, at 6 p.m., via ZOOM (registration is required), and will be live streamed on YouTube.

The first conference titled “Disponibilidades de água presentes e futuras em Portugal Continental” will be delivered by professor Rodrigo Proença de Oliveira (IST/DECivil; CERIS).
