«The Técnico Staff Association (APIST) is pleased to announce a visit to the Laboratory of Structures and Strength of Materials (LERM).

In this laboratory, whose main activities are teaching, research and consultancy in the field of strength of materials and civil engineering structures, we will find the Main Laboratory, a Wind Tunnel, a Seismic Table, a Hydraulic Press and many other fascinating pieces of equipment.

The visit will be guided by José Oliveira Pedro, a professor and researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environment since 1990.»
