«Hands-on activities and demonstrations aimed at students, mainly secondary school students from Oeiras. This event marks the International Girls in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Day and comes from a project called GirlSteam@ISTTaguspark, designed to encourage girls and young women to consider studies and careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).
The event is part of the celebration of the International Girls in ICT Day (Girls in ICT 2023), promoted by the United Nations Specialized Agency for ICT (International Telecommunication Union – ITU), to which Instituto Superior Técnico will join for the second time.»
