Professor Donizeti de Andrade will give a lecture titled “Aviação, Engenharia Aeronáutica e Segurança: os Últimos 120 anos e as Próximas Décadas”, on December 5, under the partnership between Técnico and ITA – Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (Brazil).

The professor will address different topics, such as: the history and link between aviation and aeronautical engineering and their diverse dimensions, his experience at ITA and his role on the Horizon Europe: Climate, Energy and Mobility Cluster, and the different specialisation courses promoted by Técnico+ in this area.

The lecture will take place on December 5, at 6 p.m., in IST Congress centre. Attendance is free.

Donizeti de Andrade is professor at ITA since 1984 and has large experience in teaching and research in helicopter engineering, aeronautical projects, aerodynamics, dynamics and aeroelasticity, as well as aviation safety and continuing airworthiness. He is also founding partner and director of BrasCopter and DDA Soluções Estratégicas.
