The Universidade de Lisboa/Caixa Geral de Depósitos Scientific Awards Ceremony 2026 will take place on 16 June, at 5.30 p.m., in the Congress Centre of Pavilhão de Portugal, Parque das Nações.

These awards, consisting of a research incentive worth €6,500, aim to recognise and honour scientific research of high quality and impact, reinforcing ULisboa’s commitment to producing knowledge that transforms society.

The ceremony is preceded by the ULisboa Scientific Seminar Series, dedicated to the theme “Scientific Cooperation in a Changing World”, emphasising cooperation as a strategic driver for the future of science, innovation, and shared knowledge.
