The Ombudsperson’s Office of Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, in collaboration with the Guiding Values Working Group, is launching the 2nd edition of the illustration contest, inviting the academic community to express, through art, the behaviours that best represent Técnico Guiding Values. The aim is to illustrate positive behaviours (desirable, to be encouraged) and/or negative behaviours (undesirable, not to be tolerated) associated with Técnico’s values.
Proposals can be submitted in various forms of visual expression, including drawing, photography, collage, digital art, or other artistic techniques. Applications are open until 30 September 2026, by completing this online form.
The selected illustrations will be featured in an exhibition during the 1st Meeting of the Ambassadors Programme, which will take place on 10 November 2026, at the Técnico Innovation Center powered by Fidelidade. On the same occasion, prizes will be awarded to the authors of the distinguished works.
The initiative follows the publication of the Guiding Values and aims to foster an inclusive, collaborative, and success-oriented environment in both work and study environments.
The first edition of the contest, held last year, brought together 23 participants (15 students, 5 professors and 3 researchers) and 29 proposals were submitted to the jury. The podium was claimed by Leonilde de Fátima Morais Moreira (1st place), Clara Vilanova Rodrigues (2nd place), and Ana Sofia Branco Domingues (3rd place).
