ULISSES – University of Lisbon Interdisciplinary Studies on Sustainable Environment and Seas is a project that will provide students with a deep knowledge of ocean related problems.
The participants will have the opportunity to:
- Work on a fascinating project as part of an international and interdisciplinary team supported by research assistants and specialists in each discipline;
- Connect and collaborate with colleagues from other schools and other countries;
- Deepen their knowledge about the ocean and its relevance for the sustainability of our planet;
- Explore future education and career perspectives;
- Participate in an intensive programme that includes the Erasmus+ mobility.
The programme is free and completion confers 6 ECTS credits.

- Preparatory phase from 27 January to 5 April (e-learning, compatible with classes)
- Team Project from 7– 25 July (in Lisbon)
- Final presentation: 25 July (in Lisbon)
For expenses related to mobility activity, students from EU and other Erasmus+ Partner Countries may apply for grants at their home institution.

ULISSES is a project of Unite! (University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering), a network of universities in seven countries that will set a new model for a European virtual and physical inter-university campus. UNITE! will transform European higher education through multidisciplinary, multicultural and multilingual education, research and entrepreneurship providing skills for a new generation of European and global citizens and Europe leadership as a knowledge area.
