BEST Lisboa will organise the 2026 edition of the Best Entrepreneurship Experience (BEE), an event dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation, from March 6th to 12th. This is an international event; therefore, the official language is English.
The event is divided into two distinct parts:
1 – Open Program: Includes lectures, workshops, and a networking session, BEE Connected. These activities are open to the general public and aim to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and connections between students, companies, and professionals in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation.
2 – Competition: An exclusive segment for registered participants, focused on a practical perspective of problem-solving and critical thinking.
Competition Structure:
Teams consist of 3 or 4 members, and the format involves:
- Real Challenges: On the first day of the Competition, partner Companies and Startups will present real challenges. Teams will choose one according to their preferences.
- Development: During the weekend, teams will participate in Innovative Sprints, which are intensive work sessions where they apply what they learnt in the workshops to create viable solutions for their problems.
- Mentorship: Groups will be guided by representatives from partner companies during the development of their ideas.
- Evaluation (Final Pitch): The event concludes with the presentation of the problem solutions to a panel of specialised judges. The top three teams will be awarded based on defined criteria.
Participation in this event is open to students, regardless of experience in this area.
The goal is to develop transversal skills, such as teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Participation in the event is free; however, travel and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of each participant.
Registration can be done individually or in groups until February 8th.
