This year, thanks to the scholarship programme, four students will be able to continue their studies.

The signing ceremony of Amélia de Mello Foundation / Bondalti scholarship contract took place this Wednesday, February 26. These scholarships aim to encourage students with financial difficulties to pursue higher education studies and to recognise academic merit. This year, the number of scholarships increases to four. The scholarship recipients were Tiago Ferreira (Mechanical Engineering), Maria Pedrosa (Mechanical Engineering) and João Dinis Álvares, (Engineering Physics). Diogo Bento (Electrical and Computer Engineering) had already received this scholarship last year and this year it was renewed.

According to Luis Wissman “Bondalti recognises your academic merit. We want you to keep studying, to get good results and to become very good professionals”.

“This scholarship is a great incentive and it motivates us to continue studying and to give our best”, shared Tiago Ferreira. “If one day I have the chance to help a student in this way, I will undoubtedly do so, as a way of giving back this support”, he added. According to Maria Pedrosa “merit and work are not always enough, and sometimes we have to ask for help. My gratitude to you is immeasurable”.
