The Draft Regulation of the IST Spin-Off® Community 2026 is currently under public consultation.
The IST Spin-Off® Community is an initiative of Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, created in 2009, which promotes innovation and entrepreneurship, bringing together companies and startups created by members of the Técnico community and alumni.
These companies, with varying degrees of connection to the institution, share a close relationship with Técnico’s academic and technological ecosystem, contributing to the enhancement of teaching, research and the impact of knowledge on society.
Comments, suggestions, or requests for clarification should be sent by 13 February 2026, by means of a duly identified request addressed to the President of Instituto Superior Técnico, to the email cg@tecnico.ulisboa.pt.
