Graduation of the first Erasmus Mundus students in Groundwater and Global Change

The first students who completed the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme in Groundwater and Global Change, obtained the master’s degree in Environmental Engineering by Técnico.

The awarding ceremony to the first students who completed the Joint Master Programme in Groundwater and Global Change was held on September 15, at IHE Delft, in the Netherlands. It is co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and includes Instituto Superior Técnico, IHE Delft Institute of Water Education and the Technische Universität Dresden.

Under the supervision of professor Luís Ribeiro, from the Department of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Georesources at Técnico, the students Claudia Ruz Vargas (Chile), Guilherme Nogueira (Brazil), Guillermo Lopez (Colombia), Min Lu (China), Peiran Wang (China), Philippa Higgins (Australia), Rachel Cheng (USA), Raghwendra Shandilya (India), Sajad Fathi (Iran), Samuel Orecho (Uganda) Sereyroith Tum (Cambodia), Tunde Olarinoye (Nigeria) and Wayangi Weerasekera (Sri Lanka) obtained a master’s degree from Técnico in Environmental Engineering.
