The University of Mons will award, at the proposal of the Faculty of Engineering, the degree of Doctor Honoris Causa to professor Fátima Montemor, vice-president of Técnico for Research and International Affairs, professor at IST Department of Chemical Engineering (DEQ) and researcher at Centro de Química Estrutural (CQE). The ceremony will take place this Friday, October 1.

The Polytechnic Campus of the Belgian university, will host the Doctor Honoris Causa ceremony as part of the opening ceremony of the academic year. The Técnico professor is one of 9 distinguished international personalities.
