Talkdesk is named to the 2019 Forbes Cloud 100

The Portuguese company created by two Técnico alumni ranks 66th in the 2019 Forbes Cloud 100.

Talkdesk was created by two Técnico alumni, Cristina Fonseca and Tiago Paiva, and is named to the Forbes 2019 Cloud 100. The Portuguese Unicorn Company is the world’s leading cloud-based contact center software provider and ranked 66th in “The Forbes 2019 Cloud 100” published by Forbes magazine in partnership with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures.

“We are honoured and proud to be included in the prestigious Forbes 2019 Cloud 100. This recognition is a validation of our cloud contact center solutions and leadership in the customer experience marketplace”, said Tiago Paiva, former student of Telecommunications and Informatics at Técnico, and CEO of Talkdesk.

The evaluation process involved ranking companies across four factors: market leadership (35%), estimated valuation (30%), operating metrics (20%), and people & culture (15%). Stripe, an online payment company, ranked 1st, followed by Snowflake, a cloud data warehouse, and UiPath, a leading Robotic Process Automation vendor. 

Talkdesk has been named to this prestigious list in 2017. In 2016, the two Talkdesk founders featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
