Talkdesk, a company founded by Cristina Fonseca and Tiago Paiva, two Técnico alumni, is named to the Forbes 2017 Cloud 100 list, the list of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world, and ranked 79th.

This list is published by Forbes in collaboration with Bessemer Venture Partners, and the evaluation process involved four factors: estimated valuation (30%), operating metrics (20%), people & culture (15%) and market leadership (35%).

Talkdesk is the only Portuguese company included in Forbes 2017 Cloud 100. Stripe is the leading company, followed by Dropbox and Slack.

This is not the first time that Forbes highlights the potential of Talkdesk. In 2016 the name of its founders had been referred to in FORBES 30 Under 30 list.
