More than 30 members of Técnico community including professors, students, entrepreneurs and alumni, have confirmed their presence at the 2024 edition of the Web Summit, from 11 and 14 November, at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL) and Altice Arena.
The Técnico exhibition stand (E172) will be located in Pavilion 1 of FIL. Many people will pass through this space, including 14 student volunteers supported by the Santander Foundation, the President of Técnico, Rogério Colaço, the Vice-President for Corporate Interface, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Pedro Amaral, as well as several Técnico professors who teach innovation and entrepreneurship subjects, students’ organisations, entrepreneurs and various members of the Technology Transfer team.
With the support of partners Startup Lisboa and Startup Portugal, the stand will feature entrepreneurial teams and startups showcasing technologies developed at Técnico. These include Stonify, Testwaves, BreastScreening – AI, LAMPSY Health, BeyondUni.AI, Flash – Rapid Diagnostics, Strata Tech Labs, and SurfACTinnov.
From 12 to 14 November, the exhibition stand will host a different activity every day, showcasing the technology and dynamics of Técnico. Additionally, throughout the event, there will be a continuous raffle of various Técnico merchandise items.
The Web Summit brings together people and companies linked to technology and innovation, including investors, researchers, CEOs and politicians.
