Applications for the 2024 and 2025 Awards of the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environment (DECivil) at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, are open from 13 to 27 February.
The DECivil Awards aim to contribute to the encouragement of students in Civil Engineering, Architecture and Territorial Management and Urban Studies courses to obtain solid training in the scientific areas in which the awards fall.
The DECivil Awards 2024 and 2025 recognise leading figures in the history of Técnico and their respective scientific fields:
- Professor Alberto Abecasis Manzanares
- Architect Álvaro Machado
- Professor João Arménio Correia Martins
- Professor Edgar Cardoso
- Professor Manuel da Costa Lobo
The awards regulations, public notices and application forms are available on the DECivil website. It is expected that the award ceremony will take place on 5 May 2026.
