In 2026, Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa) will strengthen its commitment to advancing knowledge and will promote initiatives, competitions, and programmes that encourage everyone to research, experiment with new ideas, learn continuously, and transform knowledge into real impact.
The ULisboa/CGD Scientific Awards, created in partnership with Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), recognise the quality of research carried out at ULisboa, while also encouraging high-quality, impactful international publications.
Professors and researchers with doctoral degrees who have been conducting research at ULisboa for at least two years are eligible to apply, in accordance with the Award Regulations. These awards are an opportunity to participate and inspire the entire academic community.
