Secondary school students explored the biomedical engineering field at the first edition of Biomed Summer Camp

The event, organised by the Biomedical Engineering Students’ Organisation, featured hands-on demonstrations in areas such as medical imaging and 3D modelling and printing, among other activities.
 

Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo Award (9th edition) is open for applications until 25 September

The Award recognises the achievements of former students and recent graduates at Técnico for their contribution to science, technology, and society.

Illustration contest challenges Técnico community to represent institutional values

The proposals can be submitted until 30 September. The contest invites the academic community to express, through art, the behaviours that best represent Técnico’s Guiding Values.

Contributions to hydro-environment engineering and research were at the origin of this distinction.

Técnico launches a new hub for quantum research

This joint initiative, promoted by the Institute for Plasmas and Nuclear Fusion and Instituto de Telecomunicações, aims to position Técnico as a strategic centre for research and advanced training in the quantum field.
