The IPFN scientists received €175,000 from the European Space Agency to create a prototype that demonstrates the production of oxygen directly from the Martian atmosphere using plasma technology.
The Técnico professor is among the 8 nominees who will be part of the committee responsible for the oversight of the program.
Thanks to this agreement, students from both institutions will have the opportunity to attend an innovative joint MSc programme in Neuroscience, Data Science and Biomedical Engineering.
