Mining Engineering and Energy Resources students awarded scholarships funded by companies in the sector

The official award of the Recursos+ scholarship to 1st year students was made during the opening of the 19th Santa Bárbara Seminar Series organised by the Mining Engineering Students’ Organisation at Técnico (NUMIST).
 

CA2ECTécnico Awards: Caixa Geral de Depósitos recognises projects developed by Técnico Students’ Organisations for the 10th time

Caixa Geral de Depósitos awarded 19 projects developed by 18 students’ organisations under the CA2ECTécnico programme.

Técnico is part of the project to create EuroLLM, the large language model specialising in EU languages

The development of the model is led by Unbabel, a Técnico spin-off, and includes the participation of the School and the Instituto de Telecomunicações, among other organisations.

International experts celebrate advances in the fusion industry at Técnico

The event recognised the role of the Institute for Plasmas and Nuclear Fusion in the successful funding of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER).

Luís Oliveira e Silva elected Full Member of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences

The professor at Técnico and researcher at the Institute for Plasmas and Nuclear Fusion has been a member of the Section of Physics since 10 December.
