Técnico helps ULisboa maintain its position among the top universities in ‘Engineering and Technology’

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 highlights scientific fields in which Instituto Superior Técnico is strongly represented.
 

Técnico promoted a training session on doctoral supervision for professors and researchers

The training course “Good Practices in Doctoral Supervision” brought together around 80 professors and researchers at Técnico – Loures Campus.

Técnico has expanded its number of patron-funded scholarships with the addition of the Norvia Group

The first recipient of the “Norvia Group” Scholarship Programme is an Electrical and Computer Engineering undergraduate student.

Técnico PhD student awarded European Award

Pablo Bilbao has been awarded the European Physical Society Plasma Physics Division PhD Research Award for his work on understanding extreme plasma regimes.

Técnico attends the Lisbon Book Fair 2026 with IST Press exhibition stand

Applications are now open for Técnico students interested in joining the team that will support the IST Press exhibition stand during the fair. The deadline to apply is 13 April.
