«The Department of Bioengineering (DBE) at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, in collaboration with the Biological Engineering Students’ Organisation (NEBIST) and Biomedical Engineering Students’ Organisation (NEBM), will hold the “DBE Open Laboratories 2026” from April 20th to 24th, 2026, an initiative aimed at secondary school students.
More than 500 students are expected to participate. The initiative will allow secondary school students to engage with researchers, attend lectures, and participate in small experimental demonstrations in the scientific areas of Biological Sciences, Bioengineering, and Biomedicine.»
