Can we recreate the energy of the stars here on Earth? How do you build Portugal’s most efficient car? What lies behind a solar-powered, autonomous ship? What lies behind the research into nuclear fusion? On 18 April, these and other questions will be answered at Técnico Open Day, an event that invites the public of all ages to visit its laboratories, classrooms and experimental places.
Técnico – Alameda campus will open its doors, for the 5th edition of the initiative, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., showcasing visitors what is being taught and the different types of research conducted at Técnico. The programme includes demonstrations, laboratory experiments, guided tours and opportunities for direct interaction with students, professors and research projects, while also providing a comprehensive overview of the academic offer and scientific activity across Técnico’s three campi.
Técnico Open Day is free of charge and aims at all ages. Registration is now open. We recommend registering in advance via the event’s page.
