Técnico received 18 honours at the 2026 ULisboa / Caixa Geral de Depósitos Scientific Awards

Nine scientific awards and nine honourable mentions were presented to Técnico professors and researchers in ten scientific fields.
 

Master’s Programmes 2026/2027: Técnico opens 2nd call for applications until 3 July

The 2nd call for applications takes place from 22 June to 3 July and includes the vacancies left over from the previous call.

Pedro Adão rejoined the technical team that led Europe to first place at the 2026 International Cybersecurity Challenge in Australia.

Helianto: the solar-powered miniature train that has already inspired master’s dissertations by Técnico students

The initiative is part of the CAPSTONE projects, a new model for master’s dissertations that seeks to address real-world challenges facing society.

Técnico has funded 13 Pedagogical Innovation Projects aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences

The eighth edition of the initiative, for 2026, received 38 proposals aimed at enhancing teaching conditions and fostering innovative pedagogical approaches.
