The 2nd call for applications for master’s programmes (and integrated master’s programmes) at Instituto Superior Técnico for the 2026/2027 academic year runs from 22 June to 3 July (at 5 p.m.). There are places available for 27 master’s programmes at Técnico. The vacancies left over from the 2nd call will be available in the 3rd call, with a date to be set. Applications must be submitted online. The results will be announced on 31 July.
The Master’s programmes cover all Técnico’s scientific areas and take place on the three campi. The curriculum also allows students to choose subjects in any scientific field offered by Técnico and provides the opportunity to pursue a minor.
The flexibility and interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum in Técnico’s 2nd cycle programmes equip graduates to find answers and solutions to the major scientific and technological challenges of modern society.
Master’s students at Técnico can opt for a Capstone Programme master’s thesis track, which takes the form of a multidisciplinary, integrative curricular project that addresses real-world challenges.
This call is aimed at students from all universities who have a minimum of 138 ECTS credits completed in a 1st cycle course or legal equivalent and wish to pursue 2nd cycle studies at Técnico, holders of a scientific or professional curriculum that attests their ability to complete the master’s programme for which they are applying.
