The Department of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering (DER) at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, has opened applications for the Summer School “Well-Logging and Formation Evaluation – 2026 Edition”, an intensive training programme focused on advanced reservoir characterisation.
Taking place from July 13 to 17, 2026, at Técnico – Alameda campus, the programme offers a specialised technical approach in a critical area for the energy industry: the acquisition and interpretation of well-logging data, and the evaluation of geological formations in real exploration contexts.
Participation is free of charge for students from Universidade de Lisboa, while a fee of €50 applies to all other participants.
