The Rob9-16 Summer Holidays – X Project will take place from 29 June to 24 July.
Each week brings a different challenge, but the ultimate goal remains the same: to provide a meaningful activity for a small part of the summer holidays for young people ages 9 to 16.
- X Project: “Comando Total”
29 July to 3 July 2026
Build and program a Wi-Fi-controlled robotic car.
Throughout the week, participants will develop a vehicle that can be controlled via a cell phone or computer, exploring electronics, programming, and communication between systems.
The experience culminates in a final competition on an obstacle course.
- X Project: “Código Secreto”
6 to 10 July 2026
Build a smart safe with sensors, alarms, and detection systems.
Participants will develop a complete security system, combining motion sensors, light sensors, and remote communication.
At the end, they will have to test their systems in a challenge where other teams try to bypass the defenses they have created.
- X Project: “Cidade do Futuro”
13 to 17 July 2026
Develop a smart city using automated systems.
Participants will build an interactive urban model, integrating traffic lights, automatic lighting, and various technological systems.
This activity is a hands-on introduction to the concept of smart cities and urban automation.
- X Project: “Energia Viva”
20 to 24 July 2026
Build a solar-powered robotic system.
Throughout the week, participants develop a “technological sunflower” capable of tracking the light to maximize energy production.
This hands-on experience combines robotics, sensors, and sustainability.
