The Santander X Awards, created in partnership with 351 – the Portuguese Startup Association, are aimed at universities and startups and will provide 20 entrepreneurs with tools to develop their ideas and businesses more effectively.

The award categories are:

University: aimed at entrepreneurs who are in the process of validating ideas and projects that have not yet been launched on the market. The winners will receive 10,000 euros in prize money, as well as access to specialised training and mentoring to speed up the process of entering the market.

Startups: Focussed on startups with products or services already on the market and with disruptive potential. In this category, the prize amounts to 20,000 euros.
