«The Tuna Feminina do Instituto Superior Técnico (TFIST) is pleased to announce the 15th edition of “Expedição – Festival de Tunas Femininas do Instituto Superior Técnico” on 17 and 18 October.
This edition, celebrating the 31st anniversary of TFIST, is dedicated to the theme “Bandas Portuguesas” (Portuguese Bands), paying tribute to the best of national music over two nights filled with art and tradition.
On 17 October, the festival will debut its Noite de Serenatas in Técnico’s Main Building, featuring performances by the guest groups anTUNiA – Tuna de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, TMIST – Tuna Mista do Instituto Superior Técnico, and Ad Lucem – Grupo de Fados da Academia de Lisboa.
On 18 October, the celebration continues with the main show in the Aula Magna of Universidade de Lisboa, featuring the guest tuna TUIST – Tuna Universitária do Instituto Superior Técnico, and the competing tunas TADeL – Tuna Académica Dentária de Lisboa, Tun’Obebes – Tuna Feminina de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho, and TunaMaria – Tuna Feminina da FCT/UNL.
TFIST will perform on both days, promising unforgettable moments in this celebration of friendship, music, and academic spirit.»
