«The 1st Ibero-American Congress on Engineering Asset Management & 2nd Portuguese Congress on Engineering and Asset Management (CONGREGA 2024), has as its central theme “Sustainable and Digital Innovation in Engineering Asset Management”.
CONGREGA 2024 expects to gather, in Lisbon, more than 300 participants from Portuguese and Spanish-speaking countries and communities across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
This Pan-Iberian space encompasses more than 700 million people and economies that are intensively dependent on engineering assets to deliver critical services such as transport, food, water, energy, communications, health and safety, community infrastructure, defense, etc.
CONGREGA 2024 aims to accelerate collaboration between industry and academia to address challenges related to short- and long-term capital investment planning, maintenance strategies, operational plans, and asset disposal, leading to the maximization of the value realized from these assets.
The congress will be chaired by professor Nuno Marques de Almeida, and will be held in Lisbon, at the PT Meeting Centre (Parque das Nações), from July 3 to 5, 2024.
Important dates:
• Registrations are open;
• 30/10/2023: Deadline for submission of abstracts for scientific or industry research contributions (English, Spanish, or Portuguese);
• 01/12/2023: Notification of abstract acceptance;
• 30/01/2024: Deadline for submission of a 6-page manuscript or detailed industry contribution;
• 15/03/2024: Notification of acceptance for the 6-page manuscript or detailed industry contribution.
The Book of Abstracts will be published in the Open Access Series “Engineering Assets Collection” by Ponteditora.
Full papers (max. 18 pages), featuring high-quality selected scientific or industry contributions can be published in:
• English: Engineering Asset Management Review (EAMR), Springer Book Series (Scopus e EI Compendex).
• Portuguese/Spanish: Revista Ativos de Engenharia (RAE), Ponteditora Open Access Journals (Scopus).»
