Project MetroGov3C, led by IST, is a scientific research project funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT – PTDC/GES-URB/30453/2017) with a research team that includes professors and researchers from ULisboa schools: IST, Faculdade de Arquitetura and Instituto de Geografia e Ordenamento do Território.
MetroGov3C proposes a debate on more collaborative, effective and fair responses to metropolitan challenges. Assuming the shifting roles of traditional government institutions, and the introduction of new actors to the governance structure, the project investigates pathways towards more transparent, open and participated processes, where citizens may be seen as active co-producers of solutions and instigators of change.
Venue: Casa das Histórias Paula Rego (more information).
