The 7th edition of the Lisbon Machine Learning School (LxMLS’17) will take place from July 20th to 27th at IST.
Co-organized by Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores, Investigação e Desenvolvimento (INESC-ID), Unbabel, and Priberam Labs, LxMLS includes classes, hands-on sessions, and lectures by world leading experts on machine learning and natural language processing.
The 2017 edition has approximately 200 registered participants. As in previous editions, the school also promotes an open and informal session gathering its participants, companies, research laboratories, and the entire IST community, fostering the exchange of ideas and contacts, and supporting the exhibition of state-of-the-art work carried out at the participating institutions. The LxMLS’17 demo day takes place on July 25th, between 5pm and 8pm, at Salão Nobre. Participation in the demo day is free, although registration is limited.
