Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT) is celebrating its 30th anniversary on 5th December 2022, at TagusPark S.A (Edifício Núcleo Central, Centro de Congressos, Grande Auditório). The event takes place from 10.30 am to 5 pm, and includes an exhibition of the R&D projects developed at IT.
The President of IT, professor José Carlos Pedro, will deliver the opening speech, followed by three thematic sessions dedicated to 6G technology, Cybersecurity and AI, and presented by Rui Aguiar (IT-UA), Pedro Inácio (IT-UBI) and Mário Figueiredo (IT- IST), respectively.
In the afternoon, Paulo Dimas (Unbabel) will present Unbabel’s successful model followed by a speech by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Elvira Fortunato.
At 5 pm, the Executive Boards of Instituto de Telecomunicações and Instituto Superior Técnico will inaugurate the Clean Room for Nano-Satellite Assembly, located in the IT space at IST Taguspark.
