The 4th Conference on Small Animal Precision Image-guided Radiotherapy is being held in Bobadela, CTN-Tecnológico e Nuclear Campus, from 12-14 March and it is co-organized by Centre for Nuclear Sciences and Technologies, C2TN (Dr. Ana Belchior & Dr. Pedro Vaz) and by MAASTRO Clinic in The Netherlands (Prof. Frank Verhaegen).
It consists of a 2.5-day program covering several topics in the field of image-guided precision radiotherapy for small animals such as cancer biology, radiotherapy side effects, novel radiotherapy strategies, development of novel irradiation technology, novel imaging methods, among others. It is directed to biologists, physicists and physicians as well as to manufacturers of modern animal irradiation and imaging equipment with an interest in discussing and exchanging ideas on this matter.
