The seminars, taught by professors of the Specialisation Course in LSSBB at IST, are open to the general public and are intended for those who want to understand how a Lean Six Sigma can help to improve individual’s performance.

Ricardo Anselmo de Castro, ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP®, Mechanical engineer (IST) and specialisation in project management (UCP). Leader of several projects in the automotive and healthcare industry. Author of the first book in European Portuguese «Lean Six Sigma – Para Qualquer Negócio» -3rd edition. Co-founder of the specialisation course in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Luís Novo, graduated in Mechanical Engineering, PhD in renewable energies with specialisation in Innovation management and entrepreneurship. Lean six sigma black belt with over 15 years of experience in industrial operations, across a wide range of business. Currently, he is Lean manager in a multinational company.
