«The Department of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering (DER) at Instituto Superior Técnico, will organise the sixth edition of ‘Ciências nas Férias’ from 14 to 18 April. During this week, a group of secondary school students will participate in various activities related to the production of mineral and energy resources at Técnico – Alameda campus.

The programme is free of charge and includes activities such as exploring a mine through Virtual Reality glasses, a scavenger hunt with various activities spread across the Alameda campus and an in-person visit to an industrial infrastructure.

With this activity, DER aims to introduce the fascinating world of mineral and energy resources and showcase the high potential of higher education in this field of engineering.»
