«On May 12 and 13, 2025, the Centro de Química Estrutural (CQE) will host the 7th edition of the CQE Days at Técnico Congress Centre.
This annual meeting brings together the CQE scientific community — around 400 researchers, students, and collaborators — to share scientific advancements, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthen organisational culture.
The programme includes oral presentations, flash talks, posters, and plenary lectures delivered by internationally renowned guest researchers:
- Ángela Sastre-Santos, Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche (Spain)
- Éva Anna Enyedy, Head of the Department of Molecular and Analytical Chemistry at the University of Szeged (Hungary) and leader of the Bioinorganic Chemistry Research Group
- Markus Niederberger, Full Professor in the Department of Materials at ETH Zurich (Switzerland)
- Vânia Zuin Zeidler, Full Professor at the Institute of Sustainable Chemistry, Leuphana University (Germany)
The event will also feature a special session led by the National Innovation Agency (ANI), focused on strategies and opportunities for international R&D funding, with a particular emphasis on participation in European programmes. There will also be cultural moments designed to foster sharing and connection among participants.»
