«The 8th edition of “Ciência nas Férias” is back and will take place between March 30 and April 2, 2026, promising yet another inspiring experience for secondary school students.

This free programme, organised by the Department of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering (DER), invites participants to dive into the world of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering through hands-on activities, challenges and discoveries, held at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa.

Science, technology and sustainability come together in a week where curiosity is the starting point and learning happens through practice.

A unique opportunity to experience engineering from the inside, clarify academic future choices and get to know Técnico in an engaging and immersive way.»
