The fourth session of IST Distinguished Lecture Series will take place on March 10, at 12 p.m., in Abreu Faro amphitheatre. This lecture is organised by AC-PMME (Scientific Area of Mechanical Project and Structural Materials) – Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The IST Distinguished Lectures aim to promote Science in Portugal bringing together professors and researchers who have distinguished themselves in their fields of expertise.
Professor Rodney Ruoff, from Ulsan National Institute of Science & Technology (UNIST), will be the guest speaker. His developed work in the field of science and materials engineering, namely carbon materials, make him a scientific reference worldwide. The lecture will be titled “New, and new routes to, Carbon Materials”.
