«A new “Alumni Talks – Women Edition” will take place on March 8.
The event that brings together former and current students of Técnico to share a brunch and conversation is back.
This special edition aims to celebrate International Women’s Day and to highlight the inspiring successful journey of 6 Técnico alumnae.
In this edition, the participants will be able to learn about the journey of the following alumnae:
- Sara Guerreiro de Sousa | Innovation Product Manager @ Unbabel Labs & Center for Responsible AI | Applied Mathematics and Computation;
- Mariana Marques | CAMO Engineer | Aerospace Engineering;
- Joana Pinto | Co-founder and CEO @ Clynx Health | Biomedical Engineering;
- Lara Próspero | Global Director – L&D Delivery Excellence at Microsoft | Engineering Physics;
- Marta Sousa e Silva | Project Manager at Xylem, Inc.| Environmental Engineering;
- Inês Lynce | Gender Balance@Técnico | President of INESC-ID | Co-Director at CMU Portugal | Computer Science and Engineering.
By participating in one of the Career Center activities, students can request a certificate of participation that can be used to apply for accreditation of extracurricular activities. To this end, it is necessary to send an e-mail to careercenter@tecnico.ulisboa.pt after the event.
*The selection of participants will be made on a first-come-first-served basis. A confirmation email will be sent to registered participants.
This event is organised by Técnico Career Center, in collaboration with the Student Support Unit (NAPE), and with the support of Santander Universidades.
