«The Técnico Staff Association (APIST) is pleased to announce a nature walk to explore the enchanting Fontes de Caneças, on 8 February. The participants will have the opportunity to discover the rich history of these springs, which played an essential role in supplying water to Lisbon via the iconic Águas Livres Aqueduct.

The adventure includes visits to several fountains: Fonte Fontainhas, Fonte Piçarras and Fonte do Ouro, as well as Capela Nossa Senhora dos Enfermos (chapel), Gruta e Castro do Alto da Pena and breathtaking views from Miradouro do Vale (viewpoint). With a distance of approximately 10 km and moderate difficulty, this is the perfect walk for those who love history and nature.»
