«The Association of Técnico staff members (APIST), will join once again the Portuguese Cancer League’s “Pink October” awareness-raising campaign, with an awareness-raising event on breast, skin and oral cancer.

The main aim of the initiative is to awaken the community to the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of cancer, namely through screening, as well as to promote healthy lifestyles that prevent this disease.

The session will be led by Dr Marta Pojo, director of Health Projects at the Portuguese Cancer League, who will address various topics such as What are the symptoms to look out for? What are the risk factors? What are the treatment options?»
