«The Biomed Summer Camp is an initiative organised by the Biomedical Engineering Students’ Organisation (NEBM) at Instituto Superior Técnico, aimed at secondary school students who are curious about the world of Biomedical Engineering.
Over the course of four days, participants will have the opportunity to dive into this multidisciplinary field through lectures, hands-on workshops, lab activities, and study visits, all within a dynamic and engaging university setting.
The goal is to introduce an area that is still unfamiliar to many secondary school students, helping them make more informed decisions about their academic future. The programme will explore key topics such as Medical Imaging, 3D Modelling, and Computational Biology, among others.
Participation is free of charge, includes meals, and is designed for students who are eager to learn and discover new fields.»

- 15 July: Opening session and study visit
- 16 July: Medical Imaging and MRI workshop
- 17 July: Computational Biology and 3D Modelling
- 18 July: Cell biology Lab and project presentations
