The Biomedical Engineering Student Group at Instituto Superior Técnico (NEBM) will organise the second edition of the Biomedical Engineering Week – JOB2BE from 6th to 8th March.

The JOB2BE aims to promote the union between Biomedical Engineering students and to show the student population and the business world the role and potential of a Biomedical Engineer, capable of applying the principles of physics and engineering methods to solve present and future medical problems. To this end, the event’s mission is to bring together an interdisciplinary group of students, academics, and companies, fostering interaction and knowledge sharing between these entities.

During three days, various activities within the scope of Biomedical Engineering will be organised, from networking sessions with several company representatives and alumni who will share their testimonies of the job market, to lectures focused on Data Science in Medicine, Gamification in Health, Neurosciences and Therapy, and Gene Editing will be addressed. Pitches and workshops will also be organised by the participating companies. The event includes several coffee breaks, during which recreational activities will occur, where participants can win great prizes.
