«The C²TN Academy is pleased to announce the seminar “The National Pre-Clinical Imaging Laboratory and other Nuclear Applications to Health at Argentina’s National Atomic Energy Commission”, presented by Agustina Portu, Biomedical Engineer and PhD in Science and Technology from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín, Argentina. This session is part of the “Radiopharmaceutical Sciences and Health Physics” Thematic Line of Centro de Ciências e Tecnologias Nucleares (C²TN) from Instituto Superior Técnico.
During the event, the first results of the National Pre-Clinical Imaging Laboratory (LANAIP) will also be presented, along with an overview of the most advanced nuclear therapies, including Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) and the first Proton Therapy Centre in Latin America, currently under construction.
