«The Campus Tecnológico e Nuclear (CTN), of Instituto Superior Técnico, will host another edition of the Earth Systems, Radioactivity and Cultural Heritage Thematic Line Workshop, promoted by the Centro de Ciências e Tecnologias Nucleares (C2TN).

The workshop will explore topics such as water decontamination with nanotechnology, the effects of ionising radiation on food and the use of drones to monitor radioactivity. Crucial issues such as the challenges of sustainable rice production, the presence of trace elements in Antarctic soils and the impact of urban horticulture in high-traffic areas will also be addressed, as well as an analysis of cultural heritage, with a focus on an important national palace and its relationship with history and the arts.»
