Celebrating Africa Day 2019

Técnico - Alameda campus

On the occasion of the commemoration of Africa Day, a set of events will take place at Técnico on 24th and 25th May, as well as a fundraising event to support Mozambique.

Programme:

• 24th May

– Salão Nobre

4 p.m. – Programme presentation by Amadú Dafé

4.10 p.m. – Opening session

4.30 p.m. – Poem recitation “África Origem da Vida na Terra”

4.40 p.m. – Choir performance – African Hymn

5 p.m. – “The situation of African students in diaspora” (Debate)

Traditional African Food: Muamba (Angola), Cachupa (Cape Verde), Caldo de Mancara (Guinea-Bissau), Matapa (Mozambique), Calulu (Sao Tome and Principe).
