«This presentation re-examines the role of the sustainable airport through a ‘look back, look forward’ approach. The research first assesses global performance and examines existing evaluation methodologies. It then applies a systems perspective, using network analysis to map SDG strategies and diagnose systemic trade-offs. Ultimately, this work provides a roadmap for transitioning the airport’s role from one of performance measurement to one of strategic, systemic leadership.
