«The FAQtos Award, coordinated by Prof. Luís M. Correia, is an initiative organised by INOV – INESC Inovação/Instituto Superior Técnico that aims to provide relevant information on electromagnetic fields in mobile communications to the public, namely basic concepts related to electromagnetic waves, exposure limits, bibliography, and interesting references.

The FAQtos Contest is a national competition for secondary school students. 44 projects were submitted this year.

The Closing Ceremony of the 2024 edition with the motto “The World of RF’s, will take place on 6 July 2024, at 2 p.m., in Técnico Congress Centre (Alameda campus – Civil Engineering Building).

The projects are evaluated by a Selection Committee, composed of several representatives: education, business and official entities. The 3 winners will be chosen from 10 finalist projects/teams.

1st place – 1500€
2nd place – 1000€
3rd place – 500€»
